His inovations to surfboards of that time evolved into to hollow constructed boards known as kookboxes, nd toothpicks. these style of board were adopted by beachside communities across the world, for there use in surf rescue, and where used and constructed here in Australia up to ,and through the 50,s nd into the 60,s.
