Vintage Pacific Surfcraft is a ride for the historian. A step back in time to the 1930,s ,an age when surfers, such as the great Tom Blake, commuted between the islands of Hawaii and there summer life guard jobs of the California coast line, surfing the warm waters of the islands in the winter, living frugaly in beach side shacks, and sharing the pure love of the ocean with there hawaiian brothers. His inovations to surfboards of that time evolved into to hollow constructed boards known as kookboxes, nd toothpicks. these style of board were adopted by beachside communities across the world, for there use in surf rescue, and where used and constructed here in Australia up to ,and through the 50,s nd into the 60,s. VPS wishes to pay homage to these surfers and craftsman by replicating paddle boards toothpicks ,and kookboxes of this time, a time when surfers were the complete package, great swimmers ,surfers ,paddlers, fishermen, divers, sailors, and confident boat nd board makers....
